Alice Cooper: full ‘Welcome 2 My Nightmare’ details revealed
Rock legend Alice Cooper has revealed the full details of the eagerly anticipated sequel to his classic 1972 album Welcome To My Nightmare.
Welcome 2 My Nightmare, produced by Bob Ezrin, and including the reunited original Alice Cooper Band line-up of Dennis Dunaway (bass), Michael Bruce (guitar) and Neal Smith (drums), and a duet with pop star Ke$ha, will be released worldwide in September, and will be available in several different editions, each with their own bonus tracks. Guitarist Steve Hunter, who played on the albums Welcome To My Nightmare, Billion Dollar Babies, Muscle of Love and Goes To Hell also returns as a member of Alice’s touring line-up for the forthcoming tour.

The standard and deluxe CDs and LP will be released on October 17 in the UK and September 13 in North America, via Universal Music Enterprises. The UK will however receive the exclusive ‘fan pack’ edition on September 16 in co-operation with Classic Rock Magazine, containing a special edition of the CD with two exclusive bonus tracks, a poster, a face mask, a facepaint kit, a pin badge and a 132-page special edition of Classic Rock entirely about Alice.
Ahead of the album’s release the track I’ll Bite Your Face Off will be released as a limited edition single on 7″ vinyl on September 12 and as a download on August 22. The 7″ will include an exclusive live version of the song on its b-side. The download version will include album track ‘Caffeine’.
