MaYaN sign to Nuclear Blast
Formed by Epica guitarist/vocalist Mark Jansen and his ex-After Forever bandmate and keyboardist Jack Driessen, MaYaN have signed to Nuclear Blast for their debut album due in 2011.
The line-up is completed by guitarist Frank Schiphorst (Control Human Delete/Symmetry), bassist Jeroen Paul Thesseling (Pestilence/Obscura), guitarist Isaac Delahaye (Epica) and drummer Ariën van Weesenbeek (Epica), and the band will begin recording their album with “some very interesting special guests” at the end of 2010 for a May 2011 release.
They will also play a launch show for the Sascha Paeth-produced album at the Paradiso in Amsterdam sometime in early 2011.
