After much careful consideration, here is the Jukebox:Metal list of the thirty best releases of 2009. This year rock and metal are mixed into one, so that everything is considered together. Initially this was intended to be a top twenty, but 2009 produced so many good albums that leaving some without a mention wouldn’t.
