Century Media sign Iced Earth
After a gap of nine years, and coinciding with the band’s 20th Anniversary, Jon Schaffer has re-signed Iced Earth to Century Media, the label responsible for releasing the band’s first six albums.
The Worldwide deal also extends to his new project Sons of Liberty, from which he released the debut album, Brush Fires of The Mind, as a low-quality download last year.
The Sons of Liberty album will be released on July 12 in Europe and July 13 in North America, while Schaffer writes and records a new Iced Earth album, stopping for just four live shows in the US in September.
