Motörhead to headline Guilfest
Metal legends Motörhead will headline the opening day of the 2009 edition of Guilfest, a multi-genre festival held in Guildford, England.
Motörhead will headline Friday July 10, while the confirmed headliner for Saturday July 11 is Beach Boys singer Brian Wilson. No other acts have been confirmed yet.
In terms of the metal and hard rock genres’ representation at Guilfest over the years, previous appearances have included Alice Cooper, Thunder, Uriah Heep, Orange Goblin and a previous appearance by Motörhead further down the bill in 2000, as well as many young bands in recent years in a rock-themed tent.
Tickets for the festival are now on sale here priced at £115.50 including booking fees for all three days, and £43 for Motörhead’s day.
