Jukebox:Metal Dispatches blog launched
In early December 2009 Jukebox:Metal launched an announcements and newsletter blog called Jukebox:Metal Dispatches. The primary function of this is a daily update of festival announcements, tours, and site updates, which users can subscribe to.
The blog provides an RSS feed which anyone can subscribe to without the need for any specialist software (although some does exist) or accounts anywhere. Alternatively, users with a Google or Blogger account can become a “follower”.
