AFM sign Solution.45 and Nightmare

Germany’s AFM records have signed new Scandinavian death metal ’supergroup’ Solution.45 and French power metal veterans Nightmare, who’s deal with Regain Records has ended.

Solution.45 are lead by former Scar Symmetry vocalist Christian Älvestam and Angel Blake bassist Anders Edlund. The rest of the band comprises Kotipelto keyboard player Mikko Härkin, Miseration members Jani Stefanovic (guitar) and Rolf Pilve (drums) and Hateform guitarist Tom Gardiner. The band will spend the Summer writing new songs to go alongside the ones from last year’s promotional demo ready to record their debut album in September with Tomas “Plec” Johansson.

Nightmare have been consistently releasing new albums since their 1999 reformation (having originally split in 1987). Their last with Regain Records, Genetic Disorder, was released in 2007 and are currently writing their AFM debut album.
