UPDATE: ProgPower UK replacement gig no-go
March 8: Following the unfortunate cancellation of the third ProgPower UK festival due to be held in Bristol on March 28 and 29, the management and members of Australian band Voyager, set to include the festival in their European tour, have made efforts to organise a replacement gig both for the bands set to play the festival, and for the fans who were unable to cancel their trip to Bristol.
A venue in Bristol has been secured and, pending final confirmation, the gig is set to take place on Friday March 28 featuring Voyager alongside other festival bands Thy Majestie, Serenity and Andromeda.
Voyager are now seeking help from all corners to promote the show and make it a success.
Anyone able and willing to help in the areas of promotion, backline or any other area are asked to email Mark on evilelvis@three.com.au or by phone on +61 419 043 722.
When tickets and further details are available this post will be updated. Stay tuned.
March 10: Voyager have now announced that due to travel difficulties for one of the bands, venue restrictions and the short promotion time available, the proposed ProgPower UK replacement gig will not go ahead. Voyager will still tour Europe as planned, but there will be no UK show.
