Hendrix tribute show in London

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Jimi Hendrix‘s US live debut at the Monterey Festival in 1967, and the release of the show on DVD, a special launch event is being held at the London Hippodrome on October 25.

The event begins with a ‘simultaneous cinecast’ of the new DVD at cinemas across the country, then the London screening will be followed by a special hour-long tribue performance by Gary Moore with original Jimi Hendrix Experience drummer Mitch Mitchell and Band of Gypsys bassist Billy Cox along with Primal Scream drummer Darrin Mooney and guitarist Dave Bronze.

Tickets cost £42 for the Hippdrome event with a special VIP package, which includes access to all areas, food and drink, an after show part and free stuff, available for £205. Tickets are available from www.hendrixatmonterey.com.
