London Guitar Show 2006

The 2006 edition of the UK’s largest guitar show will take place on May 5, 6 and 7 at the Wembley Exhibition Centre. Every year the event boasts a main stage featuring guitar oriented acts which in recent years have included performances by British rockers Thunder, Stuck Mojo/Fozzy guitarist Rich Ward and alt-metallers Sikth amongst many others. In 2004 the show won the Consumer Exhibition of the Year award and this year’s show looks set to build on past success.

Across the three days the main stage will play host to heavy rockers Therapy?, Quireboys, The Glitterati and guitar show regulars Phil Hilbourne and Nicko McBrain (of Iron Maiden). The main exhibition hall will house stands for every major guitar and amplifier manufacturer in the World, with playing booths and opportunities to test the latest guitar equipment from the likes of Gibson, Marshall, PRS, Ernie Ball MusicMan and Peavey. Throughout each day guitar experts will host seminars on various aspects of guitar playing and equipment and an acoustic stage will feature performances from several great acoustic guitar players.

Tickets for the event are £10 per day in advance (£12 on the door) for adults and £6 for children under 10. Children under 5 are free. Educational establishments have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the Friday only at £5 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased online here or over the phone on 01353 665577.
